First and foremost, Carolyn loved God with all her heart and soul. She did everything in her life
to please Him and served Him until the very end. She never blamed God for her disease and loved Him
in spite of it. He was the sole reason she lived for as long as she did. We all thank Him for
that.

Carolyn was diagnosed with Lupus at the age of 14. They gave her 7 months to live. When she
surpassed that, they gave her 7 years, which is the average time a person with Lupus lived at the
time. She survived for 27 years with the disease. They told her she would never live long enough
to get married but she married a man who took wonderful care of her and made her his whole life.
They celebrated their 20th anniversary on Aug. 1, right before she died. True, we all love you and
thank you for taking care of our daughter, sister, and aunt.

She was involved in youth activities and serving the youth of her church. She loved doing things
with God in mind. Everything she did was to praise Him.

She even did as much as she could with her nephews and nieces. Often times, she and True would take
the kids for the week and take them fishing, shopping, even taking them out driving when they got
their learners permits.

As a teen, she was involved in drama groups and performed throughout Northeast Ohio. She loved to
sing and was even chosen as Soloist for the Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary on the state
level one year. She was also involved in political activities for the Republican Party. She
believed in her ideals and truly followed through with them.

Carolyn, we all love and miss you. I see you in all kinds of places, even though I know it truly
isn't you. I get emails and think, "Carolyn would love that one" and then remember that you're gone
and I cannot send it to you. Then I cry again. I miss your phone calls at 6 in the morning on my
birthday and I know Lois and Teresa do too. Now Lois calls Teresa and me at 6 am on our birthdays
and I call her. We are trying to keep up with some of your traditions and I hope you like it and we
make you laugh while you are watching us.

Take care of our precious little Ahna Lynn and we'll see you when God decides to call us home. We
love you!!!

If heaven had a phone

I Cannot dial your Number,
I Can't get through to You,
I Called the Operator,
She did all that she could Do.

There is no code for Heaven,
I Cannot place the Call,
No Numbers left to Call,
I Reckon I've tried them All.

If Heaven had a Phone,
I'd Ring you Every Day,
If Heaven had a Phone,
There's things I want to Say.

To Tell you that I love You,
And Miss you Every Day,
How much I prayed to God,
That He could have let you Stay,
but heaven dont have a phone,
so in our hearts you will always stay.
lots of love theresa xxx

Sis

I know that you are in a much better place and singing for Christ but I miss you so much. I didn't know that this would be so hard, having to live without you. I think of you all the time and truly miss not being able to call you and just talk. I sincerely hope that you and Ahna are having a good time and that she is blessed to be with you and God.

I see you in the evening
and the darkness of the night.
You're with me in the morning,
when all the world is bright.
I feel you in a breeze,
like a tender warm embrace;
I feel you when a snowflake
falls softly on my face.
I hear you when it thunders
and the world seems at an end;
I hear you whisper softly,
'One day your heart will mend'.
I hear you in a bird song
the humming of the bees.
Your voice is strong and vibrant
in the waves of stormy seas.
I see, I feel, I hear you,
you're there in all I do,
guiding and protecting,
until my life is through.

Love and God Bless
